My work ranges from hands-on technical writing and editing to the design of documentation systems, knowledge architecture, training programs, and operational workflows.

The most meaningful work I've done can't be shared in full. Rather than publishing internal documentation or proprietary workflows, I've summarized the challenges, decisions, and outcomes behind each project. I believe protecting an employer's confidential information is part of delivering great documentation—and I'd extend that same care to every organization I work with.

The challenge

Documentation was spread across multiple knowledge bases with inconsistent ownership, duplicated processes, and no clear governance model.

My role

I led the redesign of the documentation ecosystem by establishing standards, ownership models, approval workflows, templates, and information architecture supporting multiple operational teams.

AI chatbot optimization

The challenge

A customer-support chatbot required ongoing refinement to improve self-service, routing accuracy, and customer experience while reducing unnecessary support effort.

My role

I led conversation analysis, topic taxonomy, playbook design, prompt refinement, knowledge-content improvements, and technical handoff workflows across Customer Support, Product, and Engineering.

Instructional design and learning systems

LMS implementation and scalable onboarding

The challenge

Maple had online courses available for new hires, but they were scattered across the existing learning platform and lacked a defined learning path. There was no cohesive onboarding program connecting self-paced learning with live training, hands-on practice, or knowledge checks.

My role

I designed and built a structured onboarding program in Coassemble, establishing a framework for how the platform would be used to support learning at Maple.

I organized content into a defined learning path with time-bound completion expectations. I integrated self-paced courses with live, hands-on activities and knowledge checks tied directly to the material learners had completed. The program incorporates a range of learning formats, including modules, videos, quizzes, and interactive activities.

I also built learner feedback into the program so each cohort could help inform future improvements. The program has since expanded beyond onboarding to support professional development and training on new processes.

  • 100+ new hires have completed the onboarding program
